I believed it included ambient lighting; however, it does not. Despite the presence of strips under the door knobs. What is the likelihood that it may be activated by BimmerCode, or is it more like that it is only a strip without the necessary lighting components?

I own a 2024 430i, which has ambient lighting. Supply chain problems did not affect that model year, and I do not think the 4 Series had any deficiency in that function in 2021 or 2022 either.

I concurred, however according to the purchase guide for MY24, the 4UR Ambient Lighting is a standard feature.
