My 1994 Ford E350 7.5 Liter only produces a clicking sound when I turn the key and fails to crank. For many months, it would emit a clicking sound at the first ignition attempt, but would thereafter engage and crank on the subsequent attempt. I resolved to tidy the connections at the battery and the terminals on the fender relay and the starter relay. Consequently, after doing that, she now fails to start entirely, indicating that my efforts to improve the situation have exacerbated it.
Several factors to consider:
Upon turning the key to begin cranking, I see 12 volts on the substantial wire connected to the starter. The little wire leading to the starter is not receiving any electricity.
A relay is installed behind the front grille of the vehicle, on the same side as the battery, and it clicks when the key is turned. I eliminated all of these connections and tidied them, nevertheless there was no alteration; it continues to click.

What is the voltage reading of your battery? Examine all pertinent fuses and relays, particularly.

If you can access the starter, attempt to strike it forcefully with a hammer shaft; this may be effective if there is a malfunctioning component inside the starter.

Indeed, I attempted to use the hammer, but there was no alteration.

I have inspected all fuses in the power distribution box, and none are damaged. Is there supposed to be electricity at the little wire on the starter when the ignition key is turned?

Have you inspected all the wiring at the batteries, terminals, etc., to see if any feed wires have been dislodged or improperly connected? This pertains to the 1996 7.5L positive battery cable, however it may be same.

I do not see any loose cables; I assume they are fully accounted for. This is located on the driver's side fender; I suspect this relay pertains to the presence of two batteries, one of which is auxiliary for the camper.
